Magic Button for the till test build

One button next to Dotykačka. Under it, tiles for the extensions you enable in the Doty+ portal: the loyalty programme, a survey for the shift, and more to come. A new extension appears on the till by itself, with no reinstall. The app speaks Polish and Czech, following the language set on the till.

Already on 0.2.0? Install over the top, uninstall nothing. The till settings stay where they are. Only a move from 0.1.0 needs the old app removed first, because it was signed with a different key; after that the till identifier and the till code have to be entered again.

The file to install on the till

Android 5.0 or newer. Download it with the browser on the till it will run on.

Installation in three steps

Add the till in the portal

In the Doty+ portal, connect your Dotykačka cloud, pick the branch and name the till. You get a till code, shown once.

Install on the till

Open the downloaded file. Android will ask for permission to install from this source; allow this one install only. The app appears on the app list.

Enter the till code

The address and port are already filled in. Enter the till identifier and the till code, tap “Check connection”, then “Save”.

Test version. It installs on a till running Dotykačka POS, next to the sales app. The app itself runs in Polish or Czech according to the till's language; the screens it shows come from the Doty+ server.
